Your money app tells you what you spent. That is the least useful thing it knows.

Last month is history. The questions that keep people up at night are about the future. Can I afford this? Will I make it to payday? What if I take the job? When can I stop working?

Answering those means holding your entire balance sheet in one place and running it forward. No spreadsheet does that without breaking.

Where the money is heading, and how wrong that could be.

Solid line for history, dashed for projection, 7 days to 5 years out. A second chart shows the p10 to p90 band from a Monte Carlo run plus your odds of running short.

    • What-if sandbox
    • Save, compare and share scenarios

Four questions, answered before your coffee cools.

  • 01How much am I worth?
  • 02Am I up or down this month?
  • 03Where is my cash headed?
  • 04Is anything about to go wrong?

The dashboard answers all four from your real data, in a single round-trip. Net worth here means cash plus investments plus property minus loans, and the health score breaks into five weighted parts, each explained in plain English.

Most AI finance is a language model guessing at a plausible number. Fincator answers by calling 38 read-only tools over your real budgets, goals, cash flow, loans and holdings, then shows you exactly which ones it used.

    It cannot invent a number
Answers come from read-only tools over your own records. After every reply a grounding check traces each currency figure back to the tool output that justified it.
    It never writes without asking
Transactions, goals and budgets are proposed, not saved. You confirm or cancel, and nothing lands on your ledger silently.
It runs on every screen, not just the chat
A smaller analysis reads whatever page you are on, works out what counts as unusual from your own history rather than a national average, and caches on a fingerprint of the content so re-reading an unchanged page costs nothing.

We run money as a household

I earn in more than one currency

Security defaults set for money, not for convenience.

578 backend tests and 164 frontend tests run against this. Money is always a decimal, never a float, and your current cash is derived from your ledger rather than stored, so it cannot drift.

    Session

Your session cannot be lifted from the browser

The refresh token is an httpOnly cookie. The access token lives in memory and is never written to storage. Nothing auth-related touches localStorage.

    Recovery

A password reset actually locks the intruder out

Resetting ends every other session. Emailed links are signed, fingerprinted to your account state, and single-use. Sign out one device or all of them.

    Access

Two-factor, lockouts and an audit trail

TOTP with hashed backup codes. Per-account lockout and per-IP throttling, because they catch different attacks. Every security event lands in an append-only log you can read.

    Files

Your receipts are not public files

Uploads never serve as static assets. Files are checked by extension, content type and magic bytes, then stored under opaque names. Secrets and OCR text are encrypted at the field level.

    The questions people actually ask.

Not yet. You import a CSV with a dry-run preview showing exactly which rows will land and which are skipped, and you set your recurring bills and salary once. From then on those post themselves. Bank feeds are on the roadmap.

Your money is already heading somewhere. You may as well see where.

Five minutes to import a CSV and add your recurring bills. After that the forecast, the health score, the goal dates and the payoff maths all maintain themselves.
